kai beckman "Soar" is a fun collection of individually unique electronic tracks. some are super funky, some are super glitchy, but all of them seem to carry some sort of emotional weight that draws you in as a listener. really enjoying this album. highly recommended electronic music! Favorite track: Lovely.

Bedlam Tapes I'm honoured to be able to see Luke grow and evolve not only as a person, but as a musician too. Love this album. Favorite track: Hold On Tight! / I'm Soaring.

Ethan Kerr Lukepi's growth is so evident in this album, bolstered by the tasteful use of sampling. The bit of noise featured on the album fits right in at home as well. Favorite track: Hold On Tight! / I'm Soaring.

From Lukepi:
"Soar is a sequel to my debut album "No Wonder". I mostly worked on this from December of 2015 to January of this year, although also a bit before that.
Big thanks to the dudes at Question Records, Nathan at NEETSPEAK Records, and you, for listening to my silly music!

Sample Credits:
"Hold On Tight! / I'm Soaring" contains samples from Kiki's Delivery Service (English Dub) and an LBN67 Compilation.
"Black Blanket" contains a sample from cLOUDDEAD's first album.
"LYSM" contains samples of The Office (U.S.) and "Aquatica" by Virtual Dreams.

Album artwork is taken from Ogata Gekko's "Officers and Men Worshipping The Rising Sun While Encamped in Mountains of Port Arthur" Print. 1894.

Although they have remained a rather left-field artist, Lukepi's music does not cease to amaze, impress and provide instant joy to those who listen to it. After listening to their "Four Sided Tape" release, 空隙 got on lukepi's case, poaching him for a QR release; and here it is.

The release is an eclectic one, taking samples from The Office and cLOUDDEAD. Musically, the album is sublime: beautiful pads, punchy drums and tasteful synthesisers. There's even a bit of noise in there for those people who love a bit of filth.

Take a listen to this album, even if it's one track - you'll love it.
We did.
